Wolfe Creek Wednesday: We’re Hiring!

This post is a part of a series on our blog called “Wolfe Creek Wednesday”. Each Wednesday, we’ll be posting a fun fact, story, or a newsworthy piece of information about Wolfe Creek Preserve that we think you’ll find interesting! Although we’re best known for our world-class zipline course, our beautiful facility is also home to an array of indoor and outdoor activities, rich history, and a natural setting that we take great care to protect. We’re excited to have you join us each Wednesday so we can share more about our mission to make Wolfe Creek Preserve a place where people of all ages can have fun adventures and make lasting memories with loved ones!

We’re Hiring!

Despite the fact that we had snow a few days ago at Wolfe Creek Preserve, summer is quickly approaching which means warmer temperatures, graduation parties and the opportunity for the summer job of a lifetime!! That’s right: you could spend every day under the beautiful blue skies of Missouri, ziplining through a shaded canopy of trees, and guiding guests on leisurely walks through the woods. You have the opportunity to spend time with fun, outdoorsy, energetic co-workers who will make your summer one you’ll never forget! We have many job opportunities to suit a variety of skills and interests, including Zipline Guides, Retail Sales Associates, Pinzgauer Drivers, and Call Center Representatives.

If you love the adventuring through the outdoors, spending time with fun-loving people, and helping people make memories to last a lifetime, apply today to become one of our guides this summer! If you’d rather spend time shopping than zipping through nature, consider applying to be one of our Retail Sales Associates, where you’ll have the opportunity to help customers find unique and amazing retail from our on-site store such as antiques, Branson Zipline merchandise, Amish canned goods, or one-of-a-kind handmade accessories. Also an incredible opportunity is the position of Pinzgauer driver! If you haven’t heard about our incredible six-wheeled off-road vehicles that take our guests to the top of Wolfe Creek Mountain, check out this blog post that highlights the awesome capabilities of this vehicle. Since we have so many wonderful visitors in the summer, we need drivers to carry them to the top of the mountain, where they’ll begin their zipline or hiking tour. We are bringing in third party trainers several times this spring to facilitate training, so if any of these positions sound like something you’d like to dedicate your time to, please apply as soon as possible for the jobs! Our next training session is May 15 and you can complete an application by going to http://www.bransonzipline.com/careers.cfm. We’re sure you’ll find a rewarding job experience that you’ll never forget!

Don’t just take our word for it, either. We interviewed guides from last year to hear what they love most about being guides at Wolfe Creek Preserve. Ace LeFer and Andrew Packwood loved working with guests most, saying that ‘guests make my day’  and that ‘people having fun by the end of the tour who were terrified at the beginning’ made their jobs worthwhile. Bret Eschman told us that he loved ‘meeting all of the interesting people’ that came to Wolfe Creek Preserve. While working here, you’ll have the opportunity to meet guests from all walks of life; we’ve hosted everyone from children to great-grandparents who absolutely love their unique experiences at our world-renowned facility. Guests come from all over the U.S. and the world to zipline with us, so prepare to meet some incredible people when you apply to work with us! And, in addition to the amazing guests, Colin White told us that his co-workers were his favorite part of working at Wolfe Creek Preserve. Make sure you’re one of those awesome co-workers this year by applying to work at Wolfe Creek Preserve this summer!!!

If you’re curious about more details about the job requirements, such as hours that you’ll need to work or further examples of guide experiences, check out our in-depth post about being a zipline guide here! There’s also a quiz you can take in order to determine what position at Wolfe Creek Preserve would suit you best! What a great place to work. You would have fun everyday and get to watch people ride the ziplines, people being scared to watch ziplines, and just simply have fun. What a fun job!

My family and I came to Branson Zipline recently and we were so impressed with our guides! They MADE the experience for us! They were completely professional and took such great care with our safety, you could tell it was their #1 priority while we were out on the ziplines. It was also nice because we have two younger children whom were a little nervous to go however our guides, Paul and Tyler eased their worries. Especially with their humor! You could tell that all of the guides have so much fun with their job and the guests. They joked around with us a lot and made it such a personal experience. This will be our next family vacation, AGAIN!
