We have hired our guide crew! They began official training on Thursday and will be level 1 Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT) – certified by the course’s completion. Additionally, they will be trained in CPR and first aid. Don’t worry though! There is no foreseeable reason foasr them to need to use either talent, but it is better to be safe than sorry.
As for the actual course, we are working on a number of finishing touches. From adding hand rails on the towers and walkways to adding additional decking, the last little pieces are beginning to come together. The weather has been an enormous help as well! Buds are blooming on the trees and the canopy is beginning to really fill out.
On a final note, a few of us were even able to run through the first portion of the course, and to be honest it is amazing! It is incredibly rare to be able to view the canopy of the Ozarks Mountains from the viantage point our tours provide, and we feel this will go a long ways in helping with our word-of-mouth.
In the meantime, feel free to browse through our image gallery and continue to visit the blog to tide you over until May 1 arrives! Additionally, if you’ve yet to make reservations, don’t hesitate to visit our main site to secure your spot on one of our tours as soon as possible; space is becoming extremely limited on tours around our launch date!
