Over the past week, we have begun the process of rounding out our team. And while the hiring process is taking up the majority of our time, it has proven to be a fruitful experience – we have currently received over 80 applications for guides from a variety of qualified Ozarkians! Unfortunately, we only need 25 guides, though the large selection will help ensure that we pick only the most qualified applicants to lead our guests.
Once hired, all guides will receive Association for Challenge Course Technology (ACCT) Level 1 certification, as well as CPR and first aid training before taking any guests along the immersive zip line and canopy tours that await at Wolfe Creek Preserve. Furthermore, all guides will be provided extensive knowledge on the history and ecology of the area to ensure a quality experience.
Aside from the hiring process, we are putting the finishing touches on the courses and dealing with all of the general chaos that comes with a grand opening. If you take a moment to visit our image gallery you will find a few new photos of the property, including some great shots of the suspension bridges.
And don’t forget that we will be open by May! If you’ve yet to reserve your tour, you can do so here.
