[singlepic id=112 w=320 h=240 float=left]One step forward and two steps back… isn’t that the truth? As with any undertaking, we have begun to hit a few snags along the road. Luckily, our crew is more than competent enough to out-think and out-work even the toughest of problems.
First, we will cover the frustrating. Are you ready? Are you sure? The topographical map provided by the government turned out to be completely inaccurate! I realize that by now we should have had the foresight to not blindly trust information handed down by the government (not that they are incompetent, they are just really busy people. Yes, that is it), but we did. Thankfully, the head of our construction crew was able to take on the challenge and quickly re-evaluate the lay of the land.[singlepic id=106 w=320 h=240 float=right]
Of course, if it isn’t one problem it is another. And our other problem has continued to be the weather. As of today, the crew was having a terrible time keeping their machinery running properly due to condensation building up in the gas tanks, but at least they are able to get back to work, so it isn’t all bad.
On the positive side of things, we are beginning to piece together the first platform and have attached the first Zipline! This alone is more than enough to keep us positive about our progress and laughing at the minor setbacks. More accurately, we are practically beaming from our progress in the face of the adverse conditions and dare any and all other problems to bring it on… Well, maybe not all, but a few are more than welcome to try their best to slow us down.
As always, we encourage you to visit our image gallery to view pictures of the progress and leave any comments you may have to share. And be sure to check back regularly for new images and updates.
